A mother of six and lifelong advocate for working families, Karina brings a background in caregiving, labor, and community organizing to her campaign. She moved to Cheney after years of living and working across Washington State, and her connection to Eastern Washington runs deep — shaped by summers on family farms and a genuine commitment to the people and communities of LD-9.
Karina is running on a platform of accountability, transparency, and common-sense governance that actually helps real people. Her first-term agenda centers on paycheck protection and worker fairness, disability and chronic illness access, and lobbyist accountability.
